We have planned and carried out this example tour for our clients. It is based on the wishes of our clients and represents a combination of different regions in Belize. Partly private guided tours are planned, then again time at your own disposal with suggestions. You can enjoy dreamlike sandy beaches, turquoise seawater and culinary delicacies in Belize. But the Central American country has much more to offer. Itinerary
Arrival Belize City
Reception by representatives of Lamanai Outpost Lodge. Transfer by road to Tower Hill. Boat trip on the New River through a nature reserve to the elongated Lamanai Lagoon and the idyllically situated lodge.

This day is at your disposal at the lodge today. The Lamanai Lodge package includes two activities/excursions per night. Additional activities/excursions can be booked. These are all accompanied by a local English speaking guide. Below is an overview of the activities, for which at least two people must always sign up:
> Jungle at dawn with animal observations (1.5 - 2 hours).
> Sunrise canoe expedition with wildlife viewing (2-2.5 hours)
> Lamanai Maya Ruins: in the middle of the jungle rise these fascinating structures of a 3,000 year old culture (3 hours)
> Jungle trekking in the footsteps of Mayan medicine plants (1.5 hours)
> Sunset boat trip on the New River Lagoon with wildlife watching (1,5 - 2 hours)
> Nature walk around the lodge with plant and animal explorations (1 - 2 hours)
> Night safari by boat with game viewing (1,5 - 2 hours)

Another day is at your disposal at the lodge. Enjoy the tropical surroundings and choose your favourite excursions.

Lamani Lodge - Belize City - Black Rock Lodge
Return transfer by river or Northern Highway to Belize Airport. Pick up via a representative of Block Rock Lodge and continue on the Western Highway towards San Ignacio, the main town of the Cayo District. On the way stop at the popular Belize Zoo. The zoo is approximately twelve hectares in size and around 125 different species of animals from the region can be marvelled at. Attached to the zoo is a 30-hectare Jungle Lodge where you can hike through the savannah landscape on footbridges and nature trails. Continue to the unspoilt Black Rock Lodge on the upper reaches of the Macal River.

Visa requirements for this trip
BELIZE VISA REQUIREMENTS:
Passport must be valid for at least six months upon entry. A return or onward flight ticket as well as proof of sufficient financial means (US$75/day) must be presented upon entry.
